Your Key Responsibilities

Summary of The Role  The HR Administrator is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support across key HR functions and ensuring that employee records, documentation, and HR processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. This role supports the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee record management, attendance and leave administration, payroll coordination, and offboarding.    The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong administrative and communication skills. The role requires a high level of confidentiality and accuracy when handling employee information, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with employees, managers, and the wider HR team.    Role Responsibilities 
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for HR operations and employee-related matters. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, and HR documentation. 
  • Coordinate and manage the employee onboarding process, ensuring all required documents and formalities are completed. 
  • Support employee offboarding and ensure exit documentation and clearance processes are completed. 
  • Maintain and update employee information in HR systems and databases. 
  • Monitor and maintain employee attendance, leave, and absence records. 
  • Prepare HR letters, forms, contracts, confirmation letters, and other employee documentation as required. 
  • Handle employee queries and provide timely administrative support or escalate matters to the appropriate HR team member. 
  • Ensure HR records and documentation are maintained confidentially and in accordance with company policies and procedures. 
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with employees and managers regarding pending HR documentation, approvals, and other HR-related matters. 
  • Assist with maintaining HR checklists and ensuring key HR processes are completed accurately and on time. 
  • Support employee engagement activities, HR initiatives, and internal communications when required. 
  • Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and ensuring HR processes are followed consistently. 
  • Provide support for ad-hoc HR projects and other administrative tasks as required. 

Required Skill and Qualifications

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience  
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management is a plus. 
  • Minimum 2 – 4 years’ experience in same or similar role. 
  • Possession exceptional communication skills. 
  • Adhere to confidentiality and not discuss business matters with others. 
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to identify complex problems and related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. 
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.

  • Must be accountable with a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and ownership, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Data driven, highly organized, and detailed oriented.

Work Environment 
  • General Work Hours: Between 12.30PM – 10.30PM (WFH) Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
  • Location: Remote WFH + Occasional Meets at our Colombo 5 office – Sri Lanka.
