Your Key Responsibilities

Summary of The Role The HR compliance and payroll executive is responsible for providing dedicated administrative support across HR, workforce compliance, and payroll functions. This role ensures that employee onboarding, compliance monitoring, payroll administration, and offboarding processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the management team, the postholder will maintain employee records, monitor compliance obligations, support payroll processing, and help ensure a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities – Onboarding
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts and starter packs.
  • Complete onboarding checklists.
  • Chase references, DBS documents and Right to Work documentation.
  • Create and maintain electronic staff files.
  • Coordinate inductions and training bookings.
Key Responsibilities – Staff Compliance
  • Audit staff files and maintain compliance records.
  • Track DBS expiry dates.
  • Monitor mandatory training compliance.
  • Maintain supervision and probation trackers.
  • Monitor visa expiry dates and sponsorship records.
  • Maintain Home Office compliance documentation.
  • Produce compliance reports for management.
Key Responsibilities – Payroll Support
  • Process starter and leaver information.
  • Process contractual and salary changes.
  • Prepare payroll reports.
  • Reconcile payroll data against rotas and timesheets.
  • Support payroll queries.
  • Maintain employee records on HR and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities – Offboarding
  • Process resignations and leavers.
  • Prepare termination documentation.
  • Ensure return of company property and equipment.
  • Archive staff records.
  • Update HR and payroll systems.

Required Skill and Qualifications

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience  Essential Experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience.in Workforce Compliance, Payroll Administration, HR Administration, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong administrative experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when managing employee records, payroll data, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience managing onboarding documentation, compliance records, certifications, and employee files.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.

Work Environment 
  • General Work Hours: 12.30PM – 9.30PM (WFH) Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
  • Location: Remote WFH + Occasional Meets at our Colombo 5 office – Sri Lanka.
