Your Key Responsibilities

Summary of The Role The Senior Finance Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting and financial controls. This role partners with budget holders across the business to provide insights, challenge assumptions, improve profitability, and strengthen financial governance across budgeting, forecasting, and month-end performance cycles. Role Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of FP&A with the annual budget and periodic forecast cycles, including templates, assumptions, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs), including variance analysis vs. budget/forecast/prior year.
  • Partner with functional leaders to understand drivers, identify risks/opportunities, and translate performance into actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models (e.g., revenue, margin, headcount, OPEX, CAPEX) to support planning and scenario analysis.
  • Support month-end close by reviewing cost allocations and reconciling key variances with Head of FP&A.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis for investment cases and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide commercial challenge on spend requests and business cases, ensuring clear ROI and alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Support financial governance, including documentation of assumptions, version control, and audit-ready analysis.
  • Support with annual audit and year-end reviews.

Required Skill and Qualifications

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience in FP&A/finance business partnering.
  • Significant experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting in a small-to-mid sized organisation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, Power Query/Power Pivot; modelling best practice).
  • Strong analytical capability with proven ability to simplify complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders; confident communicator able to influence and challenge constructively.
  • High attention to detail with strong control mindset (data integrity, reconciliations, documentation).

  • General Work Hours: 1.30PM – 10.30PM (WFH) Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
