Your Key Responsibilities

Summary of The Role  The Technical operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the preparation of technical reports, maintenance documentation, and repair estimates. This position is responsible for reviewing information provided by field engineers, coordinating technical documentation, and ensuring reports are accurate, complete, and delivered within agreed timelines. The role requires excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of construction, building maintenance, or facilities management. Working closely with engineers and operational teams, the Technical Report Coordinator will ensure technical information is translated into clear and professional documentation for internal and client use. Role Responsibilities
  • Reviewing job updates, findings, and recommendations submitted by field engineers.
  • Understanding maintenance issues, repair requirements, and recommended solutions.
  • Liaising with engineers to clarify technical information and resolve any missing details.
  • Preparing clear, accurate, and professional technical reports.
  • Producing repair estimates and scopes of work based on engineer recommendations.
  • Converting technical information into structured documentation suitable for internal and client use.
  • Ensuring reports are completed accurately and submitted within agreed deadlines.
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed reports, estimates, and supporting documentation.
  • Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams to coordinate report completion.
  • Supporting continuous improvements to reporting processes and documentation standards.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring accurate handling of technical and client information.
  • Providing general administrative support to the operations team as required.

Required Skill and Qualifications

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience 
  • Previous experience in construction, building maintenance, facilities management, property maintenance, engineering coordination, or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical maintenance reports and building-related terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with engineers and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
 Desirable:
  • Diploma or qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  • Experience preparing maintenance reports, quotations, estimates, or scopes of work.
  • Experience working with document management or maintenance management systems.

Work Environment 
  • General Work Hours: 1.30PM – 10.30PM (WFH) Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week.
  • Location: Remote WFH + Occasional Meets at our Colombo 5 office – Sri Lanka.
